More Fun, Less Difficult.
It's been over a year since initial release, but this little web game still brings fun to a few people, so I've been tinkering away with various ideas and improvements that I hope will make the game more fun and less difficult. There is still plenty of challenge, but I think the flow of progression is a lot more interesting now. Here are the big changes:
- Added dynamic coin pooling system
- Added new tokens:
- Barrier Reversal
- Gold Bar
- Bomb
- Added Dark Mode to settings
- Upgraded coin spawn system
- Redesigned the slot machine prizes
- Redesigned the Mega Prize prize
- Redesigned the Jackpot prize
- Adjusted physics quality
- Fixed "silver coin not paying out" bug
- Adjusted claw animation and loot pool
- Redesigned the Tilt mechanism
- Added loot spawning system
- Added various OOB physics checks
- Fixed "volume 0% not muting" bug
Known Issues
- The response time of the game, your browser, and / or your computer may slow down at high coin populations.
- Collision checks may start to become less predictable at high coin populations.
- Spawn points may become permanently clogged over time.
- Wheel arm may get clogged occasionally. Trapped coins usually self-correct or clip through the animation.
- Gold ball can be physically ejected from the wheel.
- "Spin" button may sometimes stay on by mistake. Tilting the machine may fix the issue.
- The arcade machine itself may get littered with coins and loot over time. This is less of an issue but more of a design choice.
I Would Appreciate Your Input
I will be testing this version for the next few weeks, and will be updating the game frequently. In the meantime, please let me know if you spot anything strange, unfun or unfair. Also, if you have any ideas for improvements or new features, I'd love to hear from you.

Another idea, maybe when you get the bonus, the dead zones can reset.
Nice idea! The dead zones now shrink a small amount whenever the player gets a bonus.
An idea would be to have and option to pay points to reduce/remove the deadzone. It's way too unforgiving. The last 10 playthoughs I had came to a dead end because of the dead zone.
In a way you can already do this. The claw costs points to play but has a chance of pulling a dead zone token. Ive increased the chances of getting these tokens when playing the claw.
